EARTHWORKS & EXCAVATIONS CIVIL ENGINEER

Main responsibilities would be to provide engineering expertise for the Earthworks and Excavation portion of the overall project, etc. Successful candidate must be an engineering graduate from a recognized institution.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Main responsibilities would be to perform complex earthworks quantities based on survey as-built information, design file information or construction drawing information.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II

Successful candidate must perform quality assurance surveys/inspection of the General Civil Works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and accepted standards of workmanship. General Civil Works include the Powerhouse, Spillway, cofferdams, dykes, dams and haul roads, and drill and shoot.

POWER LINE TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM

Successful candidate must be High school graduate or mature student with a minimum of these credits: Mathematics 40S (Applied or Pre-Calculus); Physics 30S; and English 40. Equivalent academic qualifications may require validation from the Department of Education or Manitoba Labour & Immigration.

LINE TRADES PRE-PLACEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM

Successful candidate must be High school graduate or mature student with a minimum of these credits: Mathematics 40S (Applied or Pre-Calculus); Physics 30S; and English 40. Equivalent academic qualifications may require validation from the Department of Education or Manitoba Labour & Immigration.

COST & SCHEDULE ENGINEER

All candidates must be graduate in Engineering (any discipline) from a University of recognized standing with a minimum of six years of experience including direct project experience and one year of supervisory experience.

BALANCE OF PLANT – SYSTEM ENGINEER

Succsessful candidate must be able to carry out assigned responsibilities in commissioning (in cooperation with the MH Commissioning Lead) of all mechanical and/or electrical equipment associated with the generating station.
